That would be nice but I think it’s unlikely to happen within the current political and economic structures that most countries have in place.

To get to a place where young adults can build a life for themselves we would need governments to direct their resources towards things like more housing, public transportation, higher wages, lower food costs, more spending on public education, clean(er) energy, etc.

As things stand governments around the world are either unable or unwilling to change course from allowing private industry to monopolize resources, pollute and circumvent democratic processes.

The economy around the entire planet seems to be in a really bad place right now, and with it being dependent on so so many factors, I just can’t see things getting better anytime soon tbh.
From incompetent people being the head of governments(which also goes to show the face of the modern day society which is voting for them), to a cycle of never ending inflation due to the government as well as private sectors greed, to the ever increasing world population, which then aggregates to certain areas making the population distribution around the globe disbalanced and is reaching a point of being unsustainable, to the majority of new generation being tik tok professionals and contributing nothing of progressive significance to the society, to the geopolitical tensions going on around the planet and so on. I read somewhere that the current global economic growth has been the worst in 30 years as per Jan 2024 update, and unless something drastic happens, I just can’t see things getting better anytime soon.

Ngl I’m not sure what else anyone would’ve expected after covid, of course economies round the world would be fucked given the unprecedented situation and various responses (mostly involved printing money). General worldwide economics is going to be fucked for a long time trying to slowly mask that debt and the mistakes that were made.

Almost every country has a gdp graph reflecting this shape, that’s not something you bounce back from quickly.

That’s about the only solution.
I think I will have to secure it for my kids so they can define their personal lives without worrying about their careers & finances.

I used to frown upon parents spoiling their kids but I kinda understand now.

no need to spoil them, grant them security growing up but force them to work for it = win

haha, guess I have personal grooming sixth sense with folks I interact with.

honestly tho, I don’t even have particularly much nose hair. I work out a lot, so does my dad, one day some years ago he was like try this thing and handed me his trimmer, I was like I barely have nose hair, he said just try it, I did, I swear it was like I had asthma and just used an inhaler. working out became significantly easier, now I can’t go back, absolute life hack, would recommend.

Interesting, it may also aid breathing at night and therefore make my snoring a little less loud.
Not a problem for me until my wife divorces me because of it so you may have saved my marriage.

Latest Score. Nike 1 - Gammons 0 (Fox o.g)

Lawrence Fox seen here calling for a ban on Nike products. They don’t send their brightest.

haha :poldi: maybe try one perhaps? they don’t cost a lot here, the one I got just now cost less than £10, they last like 4-5 years or something then they give up and you have to get a new one. as for effort it’s 10 seconds of work once a month maybe

I don’t have a lot of nose hair and I don’t mind them because it’s a good natural air filter.

But their location is so near the nostril they prop out and say hello. Hate that.

I wish economy wasn’t so bad I had to socialise & be presentable to earn

The problem is rising inequality

The economies in general aren’t terrible it’s just that wealth is now more and more concentrated in a few places

They also double up as an ear hair trimmer. The older you get, the more those ear hairs become an issue

How did the ship crash into that. Are they blind. Wtf.

God damn, that’s was like how my Polybridge attempts fall.

Horrible crash to watch that one.

Wow. If it’s not a technical error, the captain (or pilot) has a lot of explaining to do.

On a side note that reporter has one irritating voice.
