Awful story…been thinking of those people on there today. Seems very unlikely they will find them in time or at all. 40hrs of oxygen left so time is running out for them. Always a chance, and really hope they do, but seems like they are going to need a miracle.
I’ve been actively trying to avoid all coverage of this but my partner can’t stop reading about it (and obviously telling me about it too). If I think about it too much it makes my head spin.
Well from what I read unless the thing popped up to the surface then they are pretty much fucked. Not many vehicles that can get down to that depth even if they locate them.
Having seen the BBC video of the capsule id never have set foot in it let alone paid 250k to do so. Madness.

Literally the stuff of nightmares. In the article on the BBC there was a crazy graphic showing how far under they could be which is well below where sunlight penetrates. Confined space, dark, cramped, and running out of oxygen. It will be one hell of a rescue if they manage to find them

This! I cannot fathom being “locked” in that thing for an hour, let alone paying to be in there for days to go to the bottom of the ocean even if everything went smoothly. Seems utter madness
