Yeah pretty much. Depp has nothing to lose and a lot to gain even if the verdict is favourable to Heard.
This lawsuit was a way for Depp to bring out the untold truth about that relationship, without coming across as a bitter ex.
As for Amber Heard, She could have shut her mouth post-divorce, enjoyed her undeserved alimony and remained as a lead actress in DC & other projects. Glad her tendency to demonise Depp came back to destroy the good thing she had.
Yeah it really feels like Heard massively overplayed her hand here, as everyone was already Team Amber from the get go because of course a man could never be an abuse victim and must always be the abuser.
Now her and her incompetent lawyers are showing the world what a total psycho she actually is.
How fucking reprehensible did this cunt show himself in the Gazza documentary.
It really was worth a watch from the gutter levels of British journalism and how little it’s moved on.

I saw an ad for the documentary on BBC Breakfast this morning and saw a clip of him from like 97 or something saying “We build them up, but they knock themselves down”.

Long before he became an anti-woke crusader, back in my teens I read his diary from his time as The Mirror editor (happened to see it on my parents’ bookshelf), and even then it came across what a monumental cunt he was.
