There have definitely been stories/pictures of this happening

One time they stopped an ambulance going to a children’s hospital.

But Insulate Britain said no emergency vehicles had been “seriously delayed”, that they apparently try and have someone there who guides the ambulance through a different route.

But reports say differently

One of the men pleading with the group is a paramedic who tries to explain details of the emergency he is trying to attend – but the protesters don’t budge.

Indefensible. Cunts.

So it’s okay to block the roads for kids going to school, but not okay when it’s an emergency vehicle. Got it.

Not what I’ve said at all.

Not aimed at you personally bud. There’s been a lot of tripe in this thread. I just hope no one here experiences anything bad because of these ‘‘protestors’’. Blocking the roads is dangerous and selfish beyond belief. People have lost jobs and medical emergencies halted because of these absolute cunts.

Why don’t they go sit outside Parliment and block MP’s off. Because armed forces will drag them off the road that’s why. But to stop working class people going to work, kids going to school and blocking off emergency vehicles is okay. I just hope no one here experiences their disruption on a bad scale.

Enough of the indirects, quote someone if you feel that strongly lol

Seems a bit dishonest to me. David Amess was killed at a constituency surgery, you don’t need any sort detailed access to an MP’s expenses to find and harm an MP at a surgery they’re hosting for their constituents.

The whole exercise would be fairly redundant if constituents weren’t able to find where their MP was hosting a surgery.

Poor bastard I hope Alec gets the help he needs and the Hutchins family also gets a lot off help.

How exactly does one accidentally shoot two people? I’d kinda stop shooting after I accidentally hit the first person…

Shooting first the cinematographer and then the director. Something must be off in Alec’s little coconut

Surely it was the same incident, not him going around the sound stage picking people off.

Why was there live ammunition in a prop gun?

I can’t imagine blanks can affect two people on one discharge. Blanks can’t kill from a normal distance. So why was it loaded with live ammunition? Why did Alec or anyone else of the crew not check the gun for safety?

So many questions. Such a tragedy and unnecessary loss of life.

Don’t see anything saying it was just one discharge. If it was a shootout scene he could be firing multiple shots within a few seconds. Not enough time to realise something terrible had happened.

Given what they can do with sound and CGI now I’ve no idea why they even need to fire blanks at all anymore.

That could be a possibility. Let’s see what details emerge from this story. A tragedy in any way we look at it. :pensive:

Very unlikely there was live ammunition in it given the amount of checks firearms go through on set.

The likeliest scenario is that there was a misfire with the blank and the cartridge or part of cartridge broke and was fired out of the barrel and hit the the cinematographer. Similar to what happened to Brandon Lee I n the set of The Crow.

You can kill someone with blanks, if they’re close enough.

I suppose close enough is not a normal distance according to my interpretation.

It’s citizens are quite literally being imprisoned against their will.

Except her it seems.
