Expensive as fuck tho?! Is it any dearer than London or the same haha

1984 India was akin to 1930s Europe.
World doesn’t run parallely.

How come you excuse setting up a world war for someone as unimportant as Franz Ferdinand (Do you know who he actually was?)

Give it up what you think because the Police and those in positions of power are so called Sikhs everythings okay !? To quote NWA ā€˜Fck the Police’

Franz Ferdinand was insignificant and so was his assassin. However that small moment would change history, bring about the deaths of hundreds of millions and re-draw world maps forever.

So they are now not Sikh enough for you?

Is your agenda so important that you have to degrade someone’s identity like that?

And give a decent band a name.

Look you can shut me up by showing me one major systematic insitutional mistreatment of Sikhs in India in last 20 years.

Grow up ive never said anything other than the Government and its issues and gow it treats its citizens. Its you that seems to want to drag nationalities into this with hindus and Sikhs !? By the way you do know all Punjabis are not Sikhs !?

Dude, But the Punjab has always been governed by Sikhs. Just look at that list.

I hadn’t picked up on it! Nice.

bring loads of money when you come. I’m heading to Edinburgh for some work yoke later in the month.

Did you know?
Franz Ferdinand survived the first attack and instead of going back to his country; he decided to visit the injured soldier where the assassin accidently came across him and shot him.

Speak to those being governed by him just a pawn in the political unjust systems !? Can you explain why Punjabs waters, five rivers are being redirected elsewhere ?

It’s a great place but how does anyone afford to live there?

tbf If I ever manage to go I’d be just going for the pubs haha. No sightseeing for me :joy:

If 1980s India was prepared to wipe out a race akin to Germany in the 1930s, I’m sceptical as to how far India could have changed in the short space of 30 odd years.

(Also, for the record, I’m not excusing Franz Ferdinand’s assasination as anything other than murder to initiate war- in spite of the fact that mainland Europe was a powder keg waiting to go off at the time)

I don’t know.
These things are incredibly complex to be explained by mere minutes of research.
There is a dispute of river between Karnataka & Tamil Nadu as well.
It’s a matter of providing enough irrigation to farmers of all states.

Punjab is part of a nation and it has to share its resources

Again world doesn’t run parallely and adding to that sequentially.

China was a poor country 20 years ago, now are a powerhouse.
India was a backward nation not so long ago, now is a hub for Software engineers & Enterpreneurs.

Internet and globalisation can accelerate a country’s growth and the increased exposure to global values can change the attitude of the masses.
Plus increased employment means people are less swayed by nationalist ideologies.

India is now far less likely to have an outburst unless something drastic happens.

India suffered several terrorist attacks (one on parliament), attacks by Pakistan, Domestic terrorism; yet there have been no riots harming Muslims.
Since that didn’t happen, No reason to believe India will boil up or anything.
