I think we all basically accept that foreign players are more likely to leave for the big continental clubs than āhomegrownā academy players. Very few develop the same attachment / love that keeps them loyal.
But so long as we have a nice long contract in place, we can get a good few years out of them and sell them for a huge fee. Thatās the best we can hope for.
