Yeah, he was obviously taking the piss out of Martinelli by mentioning him like that, all in service of trying to get a reaction out of Spence that could go viral.
I think Joel is being serious. I’ve seen him let his Arsenal bias make him look like a fool before.
Probably why Rio keeps him close.
Hardly scintillating but the best forward on the pitch tonight. Mixed his game up nicely. We need more of this.
Might be his best performance this season.
Just hope he can build on tonight’s performance - need consistency and more from him !?
Very good tonight
Better than that Nico bum. Need similar from him if we are to have any chance against Real.
Any Seinfeld fans out there? He destroyed “Can’t stand ya!” over and over again, what a shame about his disallowed goal, he needs it badly.
It’s nice to remember what he’s capable of.
More Please!
Genuinely thought there was nothing outstanding at all with his performance yesterday. It’s the least we should expect from a first choice left winger, to be able to put a couple of crosses in. (Some were really bad btw). Lovely flick for the assist though.
Best I have seen him play this season. Took on and best his man consistently, put in a few good balls and overall offered the most threat going forward. And what an outrageous flick for Saka’s goal!!
This is what he should be doing week in week out. Hope he can build on this. Very pleasing to see this performance.
He beat his man on the inside and outside (no Diddy), varied his play, made dangerous runs and was a genuine threat. Also bagged an assist. Outstanding? No. Good level of performance? Abso fucking lutely
He was class.
Comparing it to the level of Martinelli of this season is? phenomenal.
Always suspicious of a very quick edit like that, did he get round the defender and retain the ball?
I actually thought he gave that big Dan Burn-looking cunt a lot of trouble. Should have let him get at him more.
I hope Arteta reads this expert analysis before he sleeps tonight.
Arteta shouldn’t sleep until September with this shit show of a season.
That’s one way to injure a manager and the way our luck is with injuries lately…
