Gabriel Martinelli (11)

Arteta just said he felt something in his Hammy.

Not good

Tbh you never know with scans but it did look minor, probably just be a strain. Hopefully just tightness though

Worried :worried:

Let’s take no risks with him. He’s too important. Trossard and Jesus can play LWF as can ESR. Let him recover.

Gutted if he’s out for a few weeks. Right before our first Champions League game for years.

This guy was born to play in that kind of spotlight. Hopefully he’s back soon.

Fortunately, things are not so desperate yet.

Any updates on his injury

There will probably be a press conference ahead of the PSV game this afternoon. Surely there will be an update in there.

I mean, it looked like your average hamstring injury so I was expecting three weeks

Hopefully nothing more than 2 weeks. Too bad he’ll miss the start of the CL.

Great opportunity for Leo to stake claim to that position.

Apparently he could feature in the NLD but isn’t in the squad for PSV. They’re still assessing the injury.

Really hope he is fit enough for the bench against the scum bastards. A superb option to bring on in the final 20 minutes and wreak havoc.

It should be

I am fascinated to see the team we use against City tbh.

Think the only safe bets are Saliba, Gabriel, Rice, Saka, Odegaard and Jesus.

Arteta would pick Martinelli. Never scored against Man City unlike Leo Trossard
