I do know people who can’t let go of past events and have been brainwashed to hate anything Turkish related but all the Turks I’ve met are the sweetest people ever.
Turkish food slaps as well.

It’s weird how so many countries and peoples dislike each other for historical political reasons. We got colonised and are predominantly a British-influenced country but we don’t really have any of that real strong underlying dislike. The stuff with the Aussies is pretty much just banter for the most part.

You ever had haloumi cheese? It’s Cypriot so obviously not Greek, but it’s one of the few things I really miss since going vegan. It’s incredible.
