I do get what you’re saying, him having his head down a lot does reduce his impact both in terms of assists and scoring accuracy, but at the same time, his explosiveness and grit is what actually makes him the good player.
Hopefully his G/A this past season isn’t a flash in the pan.
I noticed at the end of the season he started to show some real technical ability. Once he refines that side to his game he’s going to be even better for us.
How the hell is he a club legend ?
Do you actually know what a club legend looks like or actually does for the club in terms of winning trophies?
Instead , why don’t you put a pole up
Who’s the biggest legend
Missenelli or Pires ?
All I’m saying he needs to start running with his head up , be more direct , more aggressive and when he gets to the attacking areas be more decisive .,
His strengths are pace and dribbling, and when the opposition has a pacey RB, or they double up on him, he struggles a bit because he’s not content with just passing the ball back into midfield. He keeps trying to do his thing, often getting dispossessed.
But, most teams in the world would take that from a 22 year old, who produced 20 goals and assists last season, in the toughest league. He’s not the finished product, and he’s already delivering at a very high level. He’ll only get better.
Nothing wrong with young Gabi
Is one of our most dangerous players with the potential to be even more so.
He will be a big player for us as the seasons roll on.
Well considering how that turd burglar got sacked so quickly…i don’t think that was meant to have been the case, there was some dodgy crap going on there.
Whatever he does from now he has bare minimum far exceeded any expectations that anyone could have had for him when he first joined, not only that but he’s young AF with plenty of room to grow.
I find any serious criticism of him bizarre as he’s a walking inspiration for those rare cheap punts that end up paying off handsomely.
