Praying for him to hit 20 goals this season with at least 5-6 more assists, that would put up there with the most dangerous wide forwards in Europe.

He wonāt score more than 5 goalās between now and the end of the season, if that .
Martinelli has the potential but he needs to get his head up and become aggressive in his attacking role .

If he scores 20 goals this season and chips in with some more assists that would certainly put him amongst Europeās most elite wide forwards from a statistical standpoint.

Heās got 14 league goals. You do realise that donāt you? Thatās as many as Pires ever scored in a single league season for us.
Heās contributing right now and is our top scorer whilst we sit top of the league. Yet heās not good enough for you lol.

I think itās valid to criticise his head down dribbling style because itās not always been effective this season.
But thereās absolutely nothing that can be said about his goal scoring form and productivity.
Heās already got 14 goals and 5 assists in the league with 7 games to play.
Thatās a good season by any standard
