Lool there’s no way we let our starting LCB go when our main defensive signing just got completely crocked.
Gabriel might be under appreciated in some corners of our fanbase but he’s not gonna be easy to replace and Mikel isn’t stupid enough to risk it once the season already started.
We will sell/release the trash and the only way Gabriel gets sold is for 80m plus.

I don’t think Mikel would have him anywhere near the squad if those rumours are true. He seems pretty ruthless like that.

I hope we are not entertaining selling Gabby.
I mean if we are struggling to afloat other players then I guess Arsenal are seeing this as an opportunity to cash in on him with a fee above his market value.
Still find it hard to believe Arteta is open to selling him, he started all pre season games including community shield. I know Arteta doesn’t like players entertaining behind his back or showing lack of commitment so maybe benching him is a lesson for him.
Or him being on bench is purely tactical reasons with Arteta trying to be unpredictable with his line ups and formations this season.

Saudi links that surfaced a while ago. Some Saudi source “coincidentally” reported that Ittihad are negotiating for Gabriel and it’s looking positive.
It’s like they saw the lineup and put 2 and 2 together.
