This guy is the best Brazilian CB. Better than Bremer and Militao and I imagine with Bremer’s injury his game time for Brazil shall increase now too.

Best CB since Campbell for me. His signing was also significant as the first proper arrival in the Arteta era.

Love him, proper hard bastard. The Samba Squillaci.

Monster on the ground, monster in the air

Very top. Good sensation

I love how Gabriel might not even be on the screen (when watching the game on the telly) but you can point where abouts he is from his distinctive scream.

A ridiculous defender. Probably the best CB in the world right now.

Injured (Possibly).

Could do with a few weeks off from injuries to our defenders. He looked pretty chirpy on the bench so hopefully just a precautionary thing and he’s fine for the weekend.

We can handle West Ham without big Gab, right?

Need to be able to handle these sorts of things… they are bad, so hopefully all good. Too bad on timing of White right now too.

What Iove most about Gabriel, brilliance aside is that everyone aside from Arsenal’s fans underrate him.

I would low-key prefer Calafiori filling in for him at CB if he’s out for a few matches. Let Zinny play LB.

I don’t trust Kiwior(even less than Zinny, yeah).

Yeah we handle injuries really well. You’d barely notice us missing important players

Thankfully we’ve got Calafiori who can fill in at left centre back to a high standard.

He’s great but having the Gabriel / Saliba partnership disrupted would be nothing other than a blow.

No doubt but it’s one of the few like for like changes in the team where I don’t think we’ll see a huge drop off. Obvious Gabriel’s aerial threat is different level but on a pure defensive level I think we’ll be fine
