Gabriel Jesus (9)

if there is buyer, now is the best time to sell.

I have zero confidence on Jesus’ health/knee.

I’m sure one of the Brazilian teams who participated in the World Club Cup could buy him. Why would they though knowing that a loan is possible?

Reckon Jesus stays for the year unless he pushes for a move in the hope of making the Brazil squad.

loan with obligation will be perfect if we cannot sell him this summer

At 28, it is still a bit early for him.
How quickly things change in football though - it wasn’t that long ago when Jesus & Zinchenko uplifted the standard of this team and now the standards are leaving them behind.

injury prone can make player career short for example tomiyasu and now jesus

He’s done his ACL in both knees now.

Realistically, if we played him in the PL it wouldn’t be long before he’d be injured again. His knees are like a ticking time bomb.

Well it’s better than nothing I guess, Jesus is on very high wages.

Hopefully we can re-negotiate 60/40 or 70/30

If we can turn it into an obligation rather than an option 50% still be a no brainer

must obligation because if he get ACL injury again on loan at flamengo then we cannot sell him next summer with him 1 year left on his contract in 2026

Sounds like Palmeiras have now entered the race too.
Got the biggest club and the most successful club in Brazil pinned against each other.

Want an auction esque bidding war where the final bid ends at £50m and there’s celebrations all round. :joy:

I saw Tim Stillman saying something about how investment rules in Brazilian football have been relaxed recently and there is money sloshing about these days.

Would be nice if he can go to one of the Milan teams.
I don’t wish to see his career evaporate so soon by going to Flamengo.

Anywhere but the spuds

It’s fine, he’ll only end up on their treatment table

Saudi, Italy or keep. Brazilian clubs won’t pay enough, at least the Italians can cough up 20m.

He’s out with an ACL, how are teams thinking about buying him this window?
