People will take this the wrong way but the best comparison out there isn’t Haaland, it’s Nunez.
He’s got an incredible physical profile, his movement, pace and power are a nightmare for defences. He’s a not a very good finisher but he finds himself in so many good positions and he likes to have a go at goal a lot that he’ll eventually score.
If we were able to get him from something reasonable I’d be all over it but this is Napoli we’re talking about. They’re tough negotiators and have set that RC for a reason.
Then you factor in his injuries, his attitude(getting angry at multiple coaches for getting subbed off) and you really wonder if the guy is really worth the risk.
To me it’s very much a “thanks, but no thanks”.

I’d prefer a run at Vlahovic, although Juve did just slap down 40m on Alcaraz so maybe they aren’t as cash-strapped as they were rumoured to be and a deal would be difficult and unlikely at a cut-price.

Is there really no good strikers available anymore? A geriatric Benzema in the summer maybe? 
There are a lot of good strikers, some very good, but only two are top(Kane and Haaland).

Think Osimhen has shown how good he has in France and Serie A. His style is perfect for the Prem. Would hapily spend 100m.
I’d still happily spend 100m + on him, if his body holds up I reckon he’s ready to explode.

Bin him, he is a striker that doesnt know he is a striker and has to change his thoughts to be a striker. Meanwhile we have to wait for him to become useful outside his constant injuries…waste of time.
fuck i love this guy but he’s more useless to us than partey, have to replace him this summer…if he stays as backup then fine but we need someone who can be available AND get goals, he does neither.

Maybe we need to sign a No.17…
The bottom line is that he has had his chance to be the automatic starting 9 and he didn’t quite take it, due to injury and finishing. We need a top 9 in the summer and Jesus can play across the frontline, giving us better depth. He may well start most matches over Martinelli in the end.
he’s lucky laca was so bad scoring wise in his last season, meant he looked an immediate improvement but really he’s not been good enough.
