Tough place to go, especially after the international break. We really struggled to create there last season, ended up drawing 1-1.
Hopefully we’ll put a couple of goals past them this time.

Good and simple 2 goal win. Looks like both their strikers are injured.

It looks like Jimenez may be back from injury but Muniz is definitely out and he has been their starting striker. Also missing Tete and Lukic who were both regular starters for them this season.

Fulham have been another one of them teams we seem to struggle against recently.
A bit nervous for this. A massive game. We win and go a few points clear and put the pressure on Liverpool to beat United.

Than it’s an absolute must win. We win this and they don’t get all 3 points there, which always possible no matter what shape United are in, then the pressure on Slut will be absolutely humongous.
I can actually already smell an upset. Amorim likes to play these kind of games (unlike the games where they have to dominate) and I think they could exploit all the space that absolutely horrible Liverpool backline offers. Wouldn’t even be surprised with a United win.

Would be quite surprised if we get all 3 points here. Fulham, Villa, Newcastle and Brighton. Top-tier, game raising pricks turn up for their biennial final against us.

White might just be broken for good. We played him into the ground for three seasons in a row.

It’ll be a shame if he doesn’t ever recover to his old level but man what an asset he was to have.
It is starting to look a little onerous with how long he’s been out and how badly his recovery seems to be going.

Question…..does @Flexo ever vote for anything other than a loss? 
As for Ben White, Leeds have a soft spot for him, let’s fleece them for a few quid.

Yeah, I remember that game very well. Genuinely one of our best pefrormances of that season. Even for that season we barely had many perfomances like that were we were cutting through the opponent with such ease.
That move when Xhaka lets the ball go through him and moves into a scoring position, dummies a 1-2, got espesially carved into my memory. We are rarely so slick and dynamic. That was peak Xhaka as that left sided box to box, shadow striker. Rice or Merino should really be able to do stuff like that.. Shame none of them has been able to fully integrate themselves into that role even though I belive they have even more to offer there.
Some other moves too, how quick we pass the ball and move off the ball, how orchestrated that was. That was closer to prime Wengerball than usual Arteta’s football. Real shame we don’t see much of that most of the time.
Also Trossard was maybe in his best form ever there. Two assists… I still like that first half of the season Trossard version better than his later versions… Got too selfish later on, his link up was much better and quicker in the early days.
Martinelli as a 9. We should also do that more often.
