Francis Coquelin

Thanks god!

We’re pretty blessed. I like Xhaka, Coq, Elneny and Cazorla, can’t say I’d have any problem with any combination other than Coquelin + Elneny.

He’s now recovered but short of match fitness!

great news!

I think he’s passing and vision have greatly improved after the past 12 months or so. He does pick out some sublime passes at times. Just needs a bit more consistency and learn how to control the tempo a bit more I think.

Great news that it’s not a severe layoff. Depth wins leagues.

From 6 months to 3 months to 1 month to 3 weeks to 10 days.

He’s available for tomorrow’s game. Great news

I’d have him on the bench, and still with the Cazorla/ Granit partnership for swansea at home.

I saw Xhaka recovering the ball a lot though (maybe more through interception), what were his stats?

Most tackles and he was on the pitch for 20 minutes  I’m glad he’s back in the squad now I feel so much more assured when he’s playing.

10 recoveries, 5 interceptions.

Yeah, I was going to say, I saw him winning the ball back over and over again.

So are recoveries and tackles classified differently? If 5 were interceptions than the other 5 would be tackles, no?

No, apparently he had only 2 tackles and I have no idea of what are the one that aren’t tackle or interceptions.

Interceptions, tackles & loose balls.

This bloke was the main reason we held on to the 3 points in the end.
