What £4m defenders are people going for?
Beyer, Bell, Baldock
I’m going for Beyer given Burnley is the better side out of the three.
Was looking at Kobore for Luton as they are more attacking and “fun”, but obviously they - along with Burnley - blank in GW2. Not that it matters too much, they’ll be bench fodder most of the time.
Defensively there wasn’t much between the 3 promoted teams in the Championship. Think everyone is expecting Burnley to be alright, but they’re a completely different unit to what they were under Dyche.
Agreed, those 4.0 defenders are mostly on the bench and last option on the bench even. So it doesn’t matter as long as they get you that extra 1 or 2 points, or even the rare occasional 6.
Beyer seems quite popular but Mings at 4.5m looks good value.
I already have a Villa defender and I only have £4.0m left in the bank. So unless FPL want to cut me a deal…

Richarlison will be one to keep an eye on. 7m and out of position. He does well as the central striker for Brazil. Will be interesting to see if he takes that spot and how he does. Will him and Maddison have any chemistry.
Still think they’ll finish 6th/7th, but for FPL with an attack minded manager, could see a good return, especially at that price point.

Still undecided in my team.
Locked in: Turner, Chilwell, Saka, Rashford, Haaland
Still debating to go Salah or not. That will see lots of change everywhere else bar the locked in players.
