Yep, Arteta said the sub was tactical but he was getting kicked a lot before he went off and was showing something on his leg to Madders at FT.
Most likely a precaution or he is also fucked and the club don’t want this to get out yet.

I think as it is though it was just a yellow.
Seen those given as reds though, studs on the shin/above the boot and doesn’t get the ball. Didn’t think it was intentionally nasty as such, just poor timing.

Nice awareness, spotted the run very well.
Someone was wondering why he wasn’t playing more recently.
It’s gone under the radar that his availability hasn’t been great. Little injuries here and there, now a red card.
Shame because he started the season so well and there have been multiple openings for him to break into the team, even ESR got a chance.

If Nwaneri did play, he wouldn’t be the youngest to play in the CL but he would beat Bellingham as the youngest English player.

Hasn’t been the best career at Arsenal for the Portuguese. Feeling a bit ominous now for him. Not his fault obviously but if you can’t show availability or a way to work for Mikel then it’s likely you won’t get to feature much in the team at all.
