He genuinely has the both the body and the strength of a teenage girl.
But today was pretty decent at times from him. He’s got a lot to work on but he definitely wasn’t that bad today.

As I mentioned in the match thread, we barely played through the middle at all in that first half so was hard for him to make much of an impact. When he moved to the right, same story. Saka barely got the ball on that side and neither did Fabio.

Definitely not ready to contribute this season. He’s got something though.
I like Fabio, I really do. However, I think to @Stroller’s point. You have to wonder if that £30-40m we spent on him could have been used to plug the obvious hole in #6/#8.

Saw this yesterday. Never expected him to have such a loud personality. Thought he was gonna be one of the shy ones. Looks to have bedded in well in the country.
I think you could jump to that conclusion given his small build and young looking face.

Would have brought him on sooner or not at all. IIRC came on around 80 minutes?
35m down the drain… I just can’t see him turning this around.
Btw I really hope ESR gets fit ASAP so he can act as that attacking alternative to Xhaka as he could genuinely make a difference in these situations.

Gave up on this guy when he botched that free kick.
If he can’t deliver a decent ball under no pressure from opponent, it is going to be a long journey ahead.
I rather Nelson comes on instead of him for upcoming games.

Not sure he even deserves a title medal.
I think we’re all forgetting the context surrounding his purchase. He was a release clause gamble at a time when we were still trying to add top tier wing talent. We got distracted with the Elneny and Partey injuries, tried buying a midfielder, failed and then turned in the best start by an Arsenal team ever which I think even privately, would have been a surprise.
Vieira isn’t good enough for a title push right now but I honestly don’t think he was bought foe that reason.
He may make it here, he may not but I think the reactions to his cameo yesterday ignore the logical place for him in the squad.
Wasn’t an insignificant amount of money though and was touted at the very least as a capable squad player.
Has he reached that level at minimum yet? Not even close.

We’ve had this argument many times. That’s just the going rate for potential right now.
I think jury is still out on him before he goes the Sambi route.

He needs to be a starter in most, if not all, of our Europa League games from this point on.
He looks shit, but he also needs a fair crack of the whip to prove himself.
