Evan Ferguson

Would say he’s a lot more mobile than a Dzeko. Can’t remember Dzeko scoring many bangers from outside of the box either.

Ability wise though, yes definitely closer to Dzeko than peak Rooney.

I’d definitely take a prime Dzeko in our current squad by the way. Very underrated player.

Džeko’s shooting technique is miles clear od Ferguson lol

With both feet

You should remind yourself on YT a bit.

And yes, Džeko is hugely underrated. He was classy on the ball and could dribble brilliantly for such a big guy.

Brighton will be asking around 100m and with Chelsea interested, they’ll probably get it.
He’s a decent striker but not sure he’s done that much for us to spend most of our budget on.

Quite wild that Brighton have a £100m rated striker who can’t start any games for them.

This sport is bonkers.

Nice player who i’d be happy to have, but if we need to invest a boatload in one attacking player, it has to be someone more complete and ready to contribute day to day…

From what I’ve seen of Ferguson he has a lot of developing to do

Outside of scoring which he seems reasonably good at there’s not a lot there currently and he’s not robust either

Needs to really start getting a good amount of game time.

Good move for West Ham but a better move for us.
Ferguson might be decent but not for a club serious about winning the title.

Yeah, he has hardly played this year as well.

Still a very interesting prospect but not a player I can see just stepping into our side and rotating regularly with Kai up front.

Boniface replacement. I think it will prove to be decent business from Leverkusen eventually.
Would be good to see how he fairs there in comparison to Ekitike and Sesko.

Saying he could go on a permanent.

Definitely not getting that £100m they supposedly wanted a couple years back.

Dortmund has the luxury to sign this type of players… buy cheap, develop for a couple of seasons and then sell high.
They have no urgency to win the title… stay competitive, financially sound, then the club and fans are happy.

Was it us?

West Ham I’d say

West Ham I reckon

Yeah, West Ham already made a big bid for Duran so I can imagine they tried the same for Ferguson.

Two ascending progressive coaches taking a hard look at him, thats interesting.

The scope here for low cost deal with high reward

Chelsea must have felt left out

I think they shouldn’t sign Ferguson permanently, find a short term solution

Then wait until summer and go in for Delap after Ispwich get relegated
