Every team cheats and dives. There are no exceptions to this rule.
When it goes for you, you look the other way. When it goes against you, it’s time to burst a blood vessel in the eye.
It’s the exact same way the vast majority feel when supporting Arsenal. Now we’re all behind England, it’s partisanship all the fucking way my guy. It’s the fan’s prerogative, nay human right, to be a hypocritical cunt.
If Italy dive or cheat to win the game, you can guarantee there will be anger and rage and shouting and swearing.
If the Danes had got through from cheating in some way, do you think they would care? Online Denmark would not be full of posts of people decrying their national identity because they cheated their way to the final. They might acknowledge it to some small degree, but they certainly wouldn’t give two shits about ranting and raving England fans.
By the way this post wasn’t directed purely at you, moreso at the sentiment I’m seeing pop up in this thread quite a lot.

1-1 in the last minutes and the ref gives a 50-50 your way even though Hutton was the guy fouled. You then score from the resulting free kick. Panuci I think it was. The whole country was seething

It wasn’t a dive at all for me, I’d be more critical of the Danish player making a challenge from behind him like that when the two between him and the goal would have dealt with the situation.
Even a slight touch on the leg like that when he’s going at full speed can bring him down, and he does what any smart player would do in a situation where he won’t otherwise score there and definitely makes the most of the contact. I’d be complementing him rather than slating him there frankly, he’s won his country a penalty and they’re in the final. I’m a neutral as well here, that’s just my opinion.

Yeah that’s a horrible dish. Difference being only a small percentage eat it once a year, as some odd tradition. We don’t consume horrible food on a daily basis.

Whenever I would come over and visit I always loved grabbing my lunch from Brezelkonig. Simple but not something we can easily get here and it always filled the spot.

You better believe next season I’m calling out people when Arsenal get a decision in our favour through gamesmanship and I don’t see gooners condemning it as angrily as they would if it was a decision against us.
Because when it’s England fans do this it’s heinous hypocrisy and a sign of a lack of moral fibre and everyone feels the need to bang on about it apparently.
You better believe I’ll angrily call an Italian player a diving cunt if appropriate and I don’t give a shit if I didn’t call Sterling the same.
I feel like some people are temporarily forgetting the inherent nature of football fandom and it’s a little mind boggling to me.
