Good game overall, Austria acquitted themselves very well. Just didn’t have that special quality to make their chances count.
Italy look very vulnerable and despite the fact they won tonight they’ve looked funny in the light, if it was against a better team they would have been sent packing with the performance they put in during the 2nd half.
Mancini has shown that he will be cautious when it matters the most, they were the opposite during the group stages. Doesn’t set them in good stead against either Belgium or Portugal

Tbf Austria are a pretty quality international side -Sabitzer, Alaba, Hinteregger and Arnautouvic. Solid, solid players all over the pitch and they gave respectable account tonight.
Italy for all their talent look beatable.
Also congrats @Cristo and lord B you guys were as great today as Wales were awful. Imagine people wanting Ramsey back, absolute nothing player.

What use would a further broken down Ramsey be in the Premier League now? Absolutely none. Even if it ain’t pretty El Neny is a physical machine and could do a specific job. Neither should be playing for us more to the point but 40 grand a week Mo over 200 grand a week Ramsey. It’s not a tough call.
