You say that yet this is where he has shined the most so far for us.
Nwathaniel Clyne.
If I may add, with a subtle touch of Emre Belozoglou too.
@Mercenary came up with most random combination of players in Greenwood & Nasri
Not that I disagree.
I thought my Xherdan Shaqiri reference was random
Imagine going from this as British core to MLS, Nwaneri, Rice and Saka.
White - Jenkinson
MLS - Gibbs
Rice - Ramsey
Nwaneri - Wilshere
Saka - Chamberlain
actual tears on my phone screen
You donât even have to compare the English core to see how fae weâve come. This team is lightyears ahead of almost any of our teams in the last two decades, certainly the best weâve looked in the Emirates era.
Yeah, itâs not even close in terms of the new British core. Wilshere is the only one who would be in the conversation with the new breed.
That #10 shirt is just waiting for him.
Slaps self how have I forgotten Benny Blanco?!
Jenkinson doesnât deserve the disrespect he gets on this forum

My eyes are burning!!
Thats an English core tbf
The original one was British because Ramsey was Welsh
There were only two players worth a damn in that group.
That tweet leans a bit into engagement bait, butâŚ
Nwaneri is already exceptional. Iâve called him a shooter, but itâs the precision of his shots that sets him apart. Against Leicester, he took four shots. Two were on target, and the other two hit the woodwork. He rarely has his shots blocked.
People often talk about Saka being double-teamed, yet I hardly hear the same said about Nwaneri.
For this team, Nwaneri should be played as a forward. The early comparisons to Ădegaard were off the mark. Plus, I wouldnât want him covering 20 miles a game like Martin does. That would take away from what makes him special.
