I’m really happy Italy won but yes my gawd fuck Southgate and this England squad putting Saka out there like that with all the pressure on him as the last pen taker. That’s like insanely inept. Hope it doesn’t ruin his confidence for the next season.

They are not likely to get another chance at a major tournament. Two consecutive tournaments with much easier fixtures than expected. Italy was on the back foot and they somehow fucked it up. Just like how they were one up on Croatia.
