This save was unreal.
We now have GK coaches that can make Leno and Martinez look good, whereas before we had coaches that made Sczcesny and Fabianski look horrible, and we sold them for absolutely fuck all. this club

yea that is fantastic.
I posted on here a few seasons ago that I’d never seen martinez let us down in a match and now, at last, he is getting the recognition he deserves.
It’s just a shame that, because of our drop in league status and his great form, other clubs might come in and he might be tempted elsewhere.

Completely agree with the comments above. Martinez looks much improved so Leno could have a fight to get back in the starting line up. Exactly the sort of internal competition we need across the squad.
Looks like Martinez has trained like a Spartan to win his place when the opportunity came up.

That’s true but that was a freaky match with players playing like kids in a park with jumpers for goal posts. 
I think that game was 9 years ago now wasn’t it??
Mental stuff. Hard to judge him on that game though, especially with that defence.

Just remembered the Firmino moment in the first half. Could have ended badly for him.

Now hoping we get into Europe simply so we can hopefully dangle the starting spot for all European football and cup games in front of him, cos surely otherwise there are gonna be plenty of teams willing to make him their number one, and we won’t have enough games to offer him.
