Jorghino wouldn’t be anywhere near my first choice but if it’s a choice between him or no one, which Wenger would have done, I’d go for Jorghino and then get someone better in the next window.
He had money but chose not to spend it and when he did, he wasted most of it.

Only Mustafi was a genuine flop, Wenger has a better record than most managers in signing players with high valuation. Ozil & Sanchez were pivotal for us.

I hate taking about summer in January but just out of interest who would you like to see us pick up in summer? For the first time in what feels like forever we don’t look like a garbage poverty side so you’d imagine there aren’t going to be too many top talents passing us buy. Even though the Caicedo deal fell through it was illustrative of what we are these days that he was so desperate for the move

I’d be keeping close tabs on Chiesa with that situation at Juve, feels like he would essentially be another Saka on the left who would absolutely destroy teams in this system.
I’m not really big on wish listing these days as it’s more a coping mechanism I used to suffer through late era Wenger or Emery times without throwing myself off a fucking bridge but I do absolutely adore Osimhen. If someone manages to pry him away from this amazing Napoli side they’ve done well

Bellingham, Rice & Felix, CL contending signings
If we finish top two then we are an easier sell to world class players. I have a good feeling about Rice, I’m still not ruling out Tielemans. Balogun and Patino in the squad.
I still think an unpredictable turn of events will lead to us landing Camavinga in the summer. I think Partey may go too, somewhere like PSG for stupid amounts of money. Xhaka will stay and become assistant manager in a few years.
This is the thing, we have Norton-Cuffy, Patino and Balogun returning. All three are probably good enough to be squad members. We only need to add real quality to our team. Maybe and upgrade on Xhaka who is having the season of his life and maybe a top forward to add to our current crop.
A midfielder of the ilk of Rice, Bellingham or DeJong and we shoot up a level. A forward on the level of Jesus and Saka, we go up again.

Wasn’t impressed with Bellingham - Rice at the Euros. Plus that’s probably a £220m midfield combo lol
