Eddie Nketiah

The problem here is that Taiwo and Wood combined cost less than 30m. Wood scored 14 league goals. Both offer more than Nketiah in my opinion.

haha wtf  I had no idea that existed

You’re better off. It’s not something that should be put in the human body.

So according to a tweet by HITC, the club aren’t forcing him out and if his valuation isn’t met we’ll keep him.

Holding out for Sesko next summer maybe?
I’d support that.

Hopefully someone better than sesko if we’re waiting til next summer.

Sesko was the relatively inexpensive punt to make this year but next year I’m sure there will be better players on the move.

Still think Eddie will go this summer.

Yeah, this may be “leaked” info that’s got out to manage any buyer’s expectations.

no way are we keeping this useless turd of a striker. I would be amazed if we keep this lump or turd for another season. I would rather try an under 21 striker than keep this guy at this point. he offers NOTHING he just offers us playing 10 men. I just cant stand this guy…he has this arrogance about like he thinks he is the 2nd coming of Henry but plays like utter junk.

Negotiation tactics

Don’t see why his value would increase within a season, his minutes will be even less and he isn’t bringing much to the team either

With Spurs pushing for Solanke, I wonder if Bournemouth will end looking at Nketiah.

Solanke is going to be more than 80m because he’s at a small club but still one of the best strikers in the PL and scored the same amount of goals as Watkins and Foden so Bournemouth could easily afford at least 30m to replace him with Nketiah.

Nketiah would be a great buy for Bournemouth. Should be able to fork out the £30m plus add ons that we want too!

Sounds to me like Nketiah had a talk with Arteta.

Negative - we possibly cannot offload a player that we do not need
Positive - a message to everyone that, we will not sell cheap anymore

Arteta seems impressed with Jesus since he returned to training. He, Kai and Trossard tore Leverkusen’s defence a new one last night.

Even I’m wondering if we should hold off buying a striker and play Eddie in the cups and to rest others when the game is safe.

Better off keeping Nelson and shifting trossard to cf if we want to do that.

Eddie has more sale value and Nelson probably more useful cover given the gaping black hole behind saka at rw.

Is it happening?

Yeah, I was gonna post an article from Fabrice Hawkins but in short Lens laughed at the attempts from Marseille to sign Wahi(he would actually cost even more than Nketiah, lol) so Marseille are back to negotiating with Arsenal for Eddie.

Fabrizio smashing that keyboard to earn those paychecks

If they just put 30m euros on the table I’m sure we will take it.

Seems a bit OTT haggling over a couple mill but we should really be seeking 30m in pounds, so we’re already accepting a lesser offer if we do the above.

If you can spend 20m euros on a 29 year old loser like hojbjerg then you can go to 30m euros for Eddie surely.
