Eddie Nketiah

Not sure that’s necessarily true considering RDZ wants him.

RDZ wants him to play in France though lol

They’re moving pretty aggressive on the market, I presume the end goal is to challenge PSG.
Final fee might be close to or break their transfer record, I’d say that shows how highly he is actually rated, not the other way around.

I’m not saying he isn’t rated by RDZ, that may be the case but would he have signed him for Brighton if still there? I’m doubtful.

Nketiah can do well in that league, a washed Lacazette is reborn over there

These moves to challenge PSG though? Not sure about all that.

More than that if you’re including future obligations from loans going permanent. On paper the summer has been great so far. I just want to see a forward/wide forward brought in.

We’re getting there. 100k off the books and our fourth best cf out of the club.

Good business.

Hopefully we are just negotiating up to the edge now and this gets done soon.

Seems likely. Marseille aren’t rolling in money, we’re probably stalling so they accept add-ons that are more favourable for us in the long-term. Buy-back clause, 20% sell-on, goal bonuses, appearance bonuses etc will get this over the line.

Just handle with care
Don’t piss off the (so far) only buyer

And to think some folk were happy with £16m .

Glad Edu has some balls. That said, their 2nd bid was a good offer.

But if it’s not enough, then it ain’t enough.

Our feeder club days are over.

Yeah because they just spent 26m on a guy who thinks it’s cool to abuse women.

3rd bid imminent. Arsenal unsure on structure of the deal.

Marseille need to seriously up their offer for Eddie…we want to sell, they are just low balling us here…To my mind the minimum offer should be the same as ESR.

They need to make sure they can pay his wages though. If we believe the rumor that he’s agreed to salary terms it means OM know what the bottom line number would be and already know how high they’ll go on the fee back to us.

The offset of the wages is definitely going to play a part in the negotiations, but as Marseille have just got rid of Auba, who much of been on sizeable wages, they can surely afford Eddie.

French and Italian clubs, low-ball offer kings of the highest order them lot are.

Stop it.

There isn’t enough malort in the world if this deal is somehow torpedoed by us wanting a buy-back clause.

Well, I’d stick one in there because you never know. He’s unlikely to get more than 15 goals in the EPL but what if it turned out that all he needed was regular game time and he starts banging in 30 goals.

I’ll accept it’s unlikely, nor would I scupper the deal over a buy back. A sell-on clause though, that’s a different matter.

You have to consider that any favourable clause we add will reduce the fixed fee that we receive.
The chances of Nketiah being a maverick of a striker is quite low for us to reduce the money we receive now.
