Looks like we might actually be getting serious if we’re bringing in Eze, a LW and striker.
Kind of options City and Liverpool have had over the years, whereas we scramble to use the likes of Sterling and Nketiah in recent years.

We’re making to much out of his ability to play on left wing for Arsenal. His role is going to be almost exactly like Saka’s on the right, but Saka is probably more driven towards the goal.
We’ll just sell our women’s team to ourselves

I’m not making anything lol, just had to respond because many are doubting (including that Palace fan vid just above) him playing on the left for us.
Yeah, I agree, he has similarities to Saka, who is more direct towards the goal. Btw, forgot to mention, I think Eze is a decent finisher too, and could improve his numbers in a team where he would be getting more chances.

I still don’t see Eze as a LW. For me he plays in the same position as Rice.
When we sign a striker and a winger the moaning in fucking June (!) will have not aged well

It’s just more competition in that area. It gives you the option of resting Rice, or have him play as the #6 and resting Zubimendi.
I mean’t in more in general, but like I said in an earlier post. We don’t play in a way that our wingers need to hug the touch line. Our main objective is still combining through the middle.
He can do that, but I think he would dominatly play in Martinelli’s position, if he does end up here.

And who knows. Maybe Arteta can turn Eze into the winger that I want, but I’m very sceptical of that right now.

They bought him for 4 million, he played one game in the League Cup which they lost 3-0, he had a complete stinker and never played for them again
