Basically we have enough money in the PayPal account to cover hosting fees for the next 6 months. To keep the hosting in place it costs around £350.00 per year.

So if you can spare the odd fiver / tenner every now and again it helps us keep running ad-free and hosted.

one thing I can say about this place is OA has the best community of people I’ve ever seen, loads of us have grown up with this place and it’s lovely to see :slight_smile: I may not always be online but I will donate again soon

Hi all,

@Bl1nk (and to a lesser extent myself) have been trying to sort out an issue on here for a while now. Basically the site software is quite a bit behind the version it should be and the longer that goes on the more likely it begins to cause problems.

There isn’t much choice at this point but to buy in some expertise and that is now in train.

The cost isn’t massive but alongside the hosting its not going to be something we can cover using currently available funds.

So we are asking for some cash money please.
