£300k a week is a figure that’s been plucked out of absolutely nowhere.
He’s on £60k a week and West Ham offered him around £200k which you imagine he’d have signed if West Ham weren’t such a nothing you.
We’re not paying £90m and then paying him more than Jesus, Partey and giving him the same salary we’d be paying Saka if he signs a new deal.

This is just pure speculation when it comes to the contract. Figures likely being leaked by his agent as well. Plus whether £300k would be his weekly wage is another thing all together. Often signing on fees and other bonuses get included in those figures which misrepresents the situation. Still big money, but that’s what we are going to have to pay if we want the best players at our club.

Not that we are not able to, but this is is figure that you have to “earn” it; like helping the team to win something, establish himself as indispensable/leader on the team.
Rice does not have that status to earn more than Saka and Jesus, not Ode not Saliba.
