I don’t watch much European football and this is not a slate on Rice who’s excellent but is he really in the top 3 midfielders in the world?
Not for me, but I wouldn’t find it weird to have him there.
For me Pedri and Bellingham are the only certain picks. Think them two are ahead of the rest.
Timber and Gabriel alone are better/more impactful then Rice, let alone players outside of Arsenal.
That said, I’m glad he’s ours. Still feel there’s at least 2 more levels to his play as a midfielder.
Timber has been one of our best transfers in recent years.
