I love how in tight spaces he always manages to poke the ball to a teammate. With his long stretchy legs.
I thought he was mostly shit when we were in possession. Did some good things defensively though.

Good defensively for sure but again lacking when it comes to getting the ball forward or into dangerous areas.

Often furthest midfielder forward and looks lost receiving the ball.
Great on the defensive side, even if a few recoveries come from his initial fuck ups, but man needs to learn to use his left foot to open up better options going forward.
Tired of his ‘forward’ pass but curling backwards to then put the winger faced up with the defender (I.e closer to our goal) and having to beat him 1v1. Use the left peg and play the winger in behind.
Have learned to accept that he doesn’t offer much attacking wise bar set pieces. We need whoever is playing number 10 and Saka to have a good game or attack will be blunt. Our defence can shut most out and Rice is a big part of that.

Bounce wasn’t dodgy he just didn’t read it well and didn’t catch it on his foot.
He put himself under pressure there more than anything else
So important to our team. An elite player. The disrespect on here towards Rice still amazes me!
