But Rice is a fan fave, he did some eyecatching stuff and he doesn’t have allegations hanging over him - so what we’re seeing isn’t surprising.

100% deserved IMO. I think he and Gabriel have been the most consistent players this season, so it is a close call between the two for player of the season. Rice edges it for me but Gabriel has been amazing this season too.
Partey doesn’t even make top 5 for me…Rice, Gabriel, Raya, Timber and MLS all finish above him IMO.

Raya’s been the most consistent defensive player (Gabi has had a great season but was out of a portion of it), Rice has been consistent and provided some absolute key performances for us (Partey also a good shout) and Saka has been our best attacking player even though he was gone for a fair bit.
Not mad, it is always a bit subjective anyhow.
