I can’t love this guy anymore. Such an incredible performance tonight and two of the best free kicks I’ve ever seen. He is everything I wanted from a midfield signing, and the great thing is, the best is still to come. He is going to achieve great things at Arsenal and has already justified the £100m+ investment we made to sign him.
As for his position, the debate is absolutely over. He can play as a No.6, but he is excellent as a No.8.
I’m telling you all now, if we play him alongside Zubimendi next season we are going to have a world class midfield.

Just give Partey a bit of respect too though for once. No need to keep running the agenda for Rice at Partey’s expense. No guarantee Zubimendi is an upgrade on Partey other than being younger yet.
