I was literally about to write, before the first free kick, how Curtois reminds me of prime Dida or VDS. Just feels 3 metres tall and you have a feeling of hopelessness when he starts saving some good efforts with ease.

Plus, we haven’t scored a direct free kick in about 3 years surely? The last one I remember was Odegaard ages ago…
Just felt you need a special effort to beat that cunt, while we don’t have any good free kick takers in the squad at all…

It had to be litetarally perfect, both with precision and power, to get it into the keeper’s near post from that position and distance. And against a keeper like Curtois.
