What a difference an Arteta window is compared to what Wenger used to serve up.
These are top quality signings, in a meticulously planned window, with our business done early.
Wenger was the opposite.
He did very little planning, just cheapskate replacements for any top quality players he’d sold, and the occasional decent player he did sign would often be a panic buy at the end of the window.
Although ionically, it was after selling Cesc, who was our best player, that saw Wenger make the panic buy of Arteta to replace him at the end of the window.
