bruh better be fit for next game or I’ll start crying.
Shame he got hurt, wasn’t super in the 1st half but he certainly wouldn’t have done what Jorginho did.
Guy plays every minute of every game for West Ham.
Yet comes here and gets injured within the first month
It was written in the stars really. Always seems to happen when we buy special players.
Wasn’t Timber a similar case?
Yes, he’s missing most of this season
And before then, he didn’t really get injured much for Ajax I think.
Don’t think so. Comes here and picks up a major injury in his first few games. Absolute joke.
Arteta said it’s a back issue, and that it isn’t good when a player like him says he can’t continue.
Not sure he makes it for the City game.
Back issue? Fucking hell, don’t be another Saliba situation
Only fitting that we go into another game against City missing key players. Jfc. If we have to play any extended period of time with Jorginho at the base I’m concerned.
Excellent. Sounds minor.
Will have him and Nelli back in notime.
I don’t think that sounds minor @Bl1nk.
Back injuries can be very sneaky. We saw it with Saliba. Went from a game or two, to coming back after the international break, to out for the rest of the season with fears of long-term complications.
I think if it was indeed minor he would have continued.
As I thought
Just makes no sense to choose to take him off willingly
Hopefully he’s back asap
Hopefully he’s back for the City game.
We should be fine withouth him for Bournemouth and Lens.
Remember the last back injury I had, thought it was minor; turned into a 6-month injury.
If Rice is out, our season is derailed imho, we don’t have competent cover in that position.
When was the last time we had this many first teamers out injured
You can’t really fuck with back injuries because you can certainly make it even worse if you rush back.
I know he fucked up but I would prefer it if we nust rocked with Jorginho and allow Rice enough time to make a proper recovery.
Jorginho played in some key games for us last season and had some good runs as well, even displaced Partey as the pivot at the end.
I don’t want to see a Jorginho-Havertz-Odegaard midfield again though. We all deserve hazard pay for having watched it.
I wouldn’t mind it personally.
Jorginho knows Havertz best as well so we may see those runs being picked up by someone from deep finally.
On that note, Jesus and Havertz on the left looked really good. I was caught off guard when Havertz was making runs and Jesus just went for it and passed hin the ball.
As others mentioned, shame he was taken off because I think of we got the winner it would be out of those two combining.
I don’t trust Jorginho to slide to the left to cover and I’ve found Havertz’s passing sufficiently vanilla that I could see them getting in each other’s way.
