D’you all remember how much criticism Arsenal used to get for not having many English/British outfield players during the Wenger era? 
We now have at least 4 and they’re all quality:

- Rice
- White
- Saka

For a period yes. But when Wenger took over we had many. Then we had the “British core” before he left.

Rice saying he wants to play for us after seeing the great football we play and this is his new home.
It’s a good job that West Ham fans don’t think that him moving here is a step up because, if they did, they might get a bit jealous. 
This is the best signing the club has made since Campbell.
Aubameyang and Ozil were top quality players but didn’t have the mental strength that Rice has and both let the club down with their petulant behaviour.
People say we’ve overpaid but compared to the combined £120 we spent on Pepe, Lokonga and Vieira, the money we paid for Rice looks a bargain.
