I genuinely wasn’t sold on Rice 18-24 months ago. Looked like a bang average midfielder but the summer we signed him I softened my stance

But honestly speaking this season I’ve seen a great midfielder who genuinely is integral to us. There’s a lot for improving his passing and driving forward with the ball but he is everything we’ve needed in midfield for years otherwise
