Dean Huijsen

Yeah. He’s exceptionally good for that position, at that age. I thought he’d be bound for Madrid, but I’d still be tempted in the event of one or two bodies leaving. We could probably still grab Williams and Sesko, and probably one other this summer.

Always good to be stacked at the back, leaving fuck all for our competitors.

If we hadn’t signed Calafiori then Huijsen is a player I’d defo want us to be looking at, if Gabriel was going to be leaving.

Personally, if we are looking at a defender this summer, I would much prefer Kerkez from Bournemouth.

It really does, which is why they’ll go and grab some random winger or attacking mid and struggle to fit them in.

They’re definitely looking for an understudy to Saliba and Gabriel and as we’ve learnt in January, a lot of work was done to bring in Reis before City hijacked that.

I also felt Heaven was prepped to have a more prominent role next season.

I guess we’ll see how Kiwior’s run goes, perhaps that could change things but I doubt it.
I don’t think Kiwior will be happy to warm the bench for another season. He’s backup to Gabriel who despite this last injury is rarely unavailable, and with MLS and Calafiori, his chances of playing getting minutes at LB are down to a crisis.

It’s a shame Scalvini has been f’ed by injuries because I would love him here.

Arteta would 100% use him at fullback as well

Just so an academy prospect can take his place within four months.

If we used a three at the back system, I’d be more for this. Even then though, we have White, Timber and Calafiori and 100% of Toni, 20% of the time who could play that role.

Surely Liverpool get him? May have extended Virgil but they could lose Konate and Quansah. Slot doesn’t seem to fancy the latter anyway, and for good reason given his performances this season.

Fuck sake

Entire article has no quote or even a reference for this ‘latest information’.

Just complete trash article for clicks. Another TBR.

Here’s a more reliable article from Chelsea’s flunkey Matt Law.

And here’s our boy Sami:

If I were to put my money on a team getting him personally it’s Liverpool. They need him the most.

Got to question the scouting at some of these clubs when this guy was available for a fraction of the price only 12 months ago.

You know who should be questioned first though? Juve.

If Chelsea spend a shit load of money again I’m just going to assume the rules don’t actually exist. Because I don’t get it.

Honestly must be the easiest job in the game these days, just go and watch bilbao one week and sporting the next.

That’s about as deep scouting networks seem to go these days for the big clubs.

It would be interesting to know what the scouting situation is for other clubs. I would imagine we’re not the only club to promote a strong analytical emphasis on it and going so far as disbanding our physical reach.

Absolutely without doubt we are signing this player.

He just got booked for delaying the restart, despite PGMOL having torn up that part of the rulebook several months ago.
