That’s why I typically have some sympathy with Dortmund’s predicament or anyone else in Germany (except for Leipzig). The gravitational pull of Bayern domestically is ridiculous.

I wonder if they don’t pay as well as even midtable English clubs.

This is a great signing cause not only is he better than Turner, he could challenge Rambo for his place and so there won’t be a drop in quality no matter what competition we play in next season.

Arguably the best window in the history of the football club. After Raya, the ST & RW situations are the last ones to resolve, then I think we’re good enough to compete on all fronts.

Let’s get this very positive signing done then go big and sign a proven 25 plus goals a season striker which we are lacking .
Then check that the open top bus has road tax , insurance and an MOT .

On paper, it has been a brilliant window. Transfer record smashed; young yet established players bought in and a ruthless intent In getting business done early. We’ve also sold nobody who is a key player.

One more forward would definitely cap it off for me.
