Balls of steel

Impressive composure from Humphries. Stunning victory in the end after a wobble

Glad he didn’t win. Thought he was acting up at points during the final.

Other Luke just got his head down and played

Glad Humphries won. Can’t be having children winning things, that would just make me feel worse about all the things I haven’t achieved in my life yet

The Nuke my new favourite, he’ll be back next year and smash this Leeds United nerd.

Let’s hope he’s not just another Kirk Shepherd.

(Massively superior player, though)

Think Littler is really very likable. He’ll have an incredible career.

The standard is only getting better.

Littler will get all the headlines and rightly so but Humphries is and always has been a class act. Chuffed for him.

3.68 million watched the final last night. Broke all darts viewing records.

Sky Sports only

Not quite sure he’ll be the Tiger Woods of darts but Luke Littler definitely got some casuals watching.

Novelty of him being 16 will wear off but few more players with a bit of personality should keep some people interested. Scott Williams was good to watch too.

I’m sure he was more thrilled about that than the 500k.
