If he was a fringe player at a club like Leicester who was constantly injured and not good enough for the first team even when he was fit, on around 100k a week, we would laugh at any suggestion about him coming here.
Itās players like Welbeck that we want to get rid of, not buy.

A quick google shows West Ham have 4 players 100K +, Everton have 5, Leicester have one, Palace have 5
I almost want to see him given an extension as a utility player. He was one of our better players before he got injured last year
