Current Best Coach (Top 5)

Now your just trolling.

So Alison and Van Dijk who signed for world record fees in their positions at the time. Van Dijk who turned down City was not considered world class?

Literally every single person for both players at the time was commenting that this was a huge game changer for Liverpool and the final pieces in the puzzle.

Your high.

VVD was a top CB and already playing in the in the PL and I think Liverpool paid a record fee for a GK when they got Allison.
Stones hasn’t been a regular starter for Man City and is certainly not considered to be a top European CB, although Laporte is decent quality.

That’s true but as I said, the true measure of a club is the league position, especially in a top European league, which Guardiola has done with several clubs.

Liverpool also won the CL with Benitez and Chelsea won it with Di Matteo, even Emery has won three Europa League titles but I don’t think any of those managers would be considered better than Wenger, who has never won a European trophy.

The point is that the large part of those 6 players being best in the league is Klopp himself.
It is not like Klopp inherited 6 world-class players, he got them there; unlike Guardiola who inherited core players like Silva, Kompany, Aguero, Fernandinho, Zabaleta, Dzeko etc.

Show me one post or comment who considered them world class at the time.
Just because a player is bought for big fee, it doesn’t automatically make him world class.
Is Pepe world class?

Again, Pepe is not world class despite us paying 72m.
Kepa is a shit keeper despite Chelsea breaking the world record on a keeper.

Liverpool did spend a shit load, on two players.

Meanwhile City paid

Just because Manchester City didn’t spend upwards of 90m on a single player, that doesn’t mean they didn’t spend big money on players.
If given a choice, I rather have the capability of spending 50m on 11 players, than 90m on 2.

That’s why Klopp is better manager.
Pep has worked with Barca, Bayern, City in his career and none of whom are supposed to be any lower than 2nd in the league.
Klopp on other hand has managed Dortmund & Liverpool who were miles away from their last league title. Liverpool didn’t win it for 30 seasons.
Klopp got Dortmund & Liverpool to win the league title despite competition from Bayern & Guardiola’s City.

When I look at that list…
Man, I don’t even know City/Pep had invested that much… and a lot of them are just 2nd team/subs…

Klopp spent most on his starters, and Pep spent on spares.
So you know who is better, even if they spent similar amount.

To be fair, Klopp has proved this season that he does need world class players in every position because he isn’t that far ahead of us.
