Im speaking from the point of someone who divides his time between Portugal and Italy where certain attitudes are still stuck in the dark ages especially in the countryside.
There’s too much peer pressure, but like you said just ignore it if your character allows that.
It’s fine to iron your own shirts but actually wanting to iron them is another thing.
There’s an art to ironing a shirt and I’m a perfectionist.
Ironing a shirt is tricky. That’s why I’ve said f it and started going into work in t-shirts all the time, except when there’s an intradepartmental conference. Makes life a lot more easy.
that’s how you want a new signing to be, actually really happy to want to play for us
That moment between him and his brother
That got me too. The romanticist in me really wants to see him deliver here.
I’ll maintain that I really don’t buy into this signing but you can’t not want to see him succeed when you see what this means to him.
Ah that’s lovely. I am glad for him.
This crying stuff is I put way more into the personality side of things than whether it’s masculine or feminine. These catch-all terms don’t really encompass the wide range a personalities a man or woman can have. I would say the Jamaican women in my family are feminine, but they’re all tough as nails and don’t really show much emotion, there’s a big spectrum to how people function.
While on that. Toxic masculinity is a nonsense term. It’s used to describe people like Andrew Tate (among other freaks) and I disagree. He ain’t masculine, he’s a fucking prick.
Well said @Cristo! I couldn’t agree more with you here. I really hate this outdated stupid concept that showing emotion as a man is a sign of weakness. I would much rather us sign a player who cares and wants to be at the club, and realises how special this is, than have some of the bottle jobs and mercenaries we’ve had in the past.
He may be crying in that video, but he’s tougher than that fraud cunt in the Leyton Orient dressing room.
This is a lovely story. A player getting a move like this, towards the end of his career, something that he definitely never expected, not only playing for a club like Arsenal but also in the Champions League, and it shows. He’ll give his all for the club and the cause, you just know that. I think he will get enough opportunities and I hope he gives it a good go.
All the best Christian and welcome to the Arsenal!!
So we’ve got a new crier to replace Zinchenko?
Love to see how much he wants to play for us though. Brilliant stuff.
Totally agree on that one.
There’s a huge difference between being touch with your emotions and throwing a hissy fit because you didn’t get your own way.
Many of our players cried on the pitch at the end of the 22/23 campaign, I got that, it had been an emotional rollercoaster of a season and to have 60,000 fans still singing your names, still showing you love, it must have been touching with a big dose of “we let you down”.
I actually expect a lot from this guy. For some reason.
A totally different player from Partey.
Too bad we are going to miss Partey’s passing, but I like having a true defensive midfielder on our team.
True. Gonna come in handy quite a bit this season when we’re looking to shut out that 2-1 scoreline with 15 minutes to go.

I must’ve seen 3 different clips of him caught sleeping on the team’s bus already.
I hate when they film me when I’m sleeping, Zinchenko would be catching fists after the second time.
