Christian Norgaard (16)

All of his tells me is that Zinchenko isn’t working hard enough in training.

Reminds me of Eddie saying training under Bielsa was so tough he was going home to sleep.

Can’t wait for him to do an inside job at spurs

He’s always been a top gooner

I think it’s the second time he’s called us a top club now since joining them, the first one was in his first ever press conference I think

With Arteta showing a preference for rotating the squad, can anyone see Christian getting some game time soon?

I believe he is fit again. Barring any further injuries to our current midfield rotation, I see him being the lockdown CM if we have tied a game up, as possible minutes he could get. I doubt Arteta swaps out any of the current starters for him.

Brighton at home in the milk cup at the end of the month, again, not sure he starts but could get minutes.

He played for Denmark in the international break som it looks like he’s available again

Pretty much.

His best performance for the club. Very encouraging because I was starting to get worried with how much he struggled in his previous performances.

I’d still go for Rice over him if Zubi is out but it’s good to see he can be relied upon in som fashion.

I want to highlight this guy now.

No one expected him to control big games with his passing the way Jorginho did, but he was supposed to be perfect to at least close down games like this with his experince, duel winning qualities etc. If he’s only here to give a little rest to Zubi in easy games where we have a comfortable result, or to play some easy cup games I don’t see the point in this signing at all.

I think it’s quite telling Arteta didn’t trust him enough in a tight situation like this, even for some 10-20 minutes. Or it’s just bad judgment by Arteta. Either way I don’t like it.

Why does he need to come on?

Rice is a machine and Zubi wasn’t playing on Tuesday so didn’t need a rest

True but both of them were exhausted.. towards the end before the goal Rice just gave up on runs . Rice is a machine but even machines need breaks.. the lack of fresh legs in midfield and the forward position cost us those valuable 2 points.

And why the hell did we just sit back and let them attack. I hate when teams do that just to wake up and do the opposite after the opposition score.

He could have played alongside them in stead of Eze.

Rice was absolutely fucking gassed near the end, no blame for being so but Norgaard could’ve easily helped.

According to who? I think you’re looking for way too much into this. We signed a 4th choice centre mid.

I think you’re reading too much into this…Arteta done the same against Palace late on. Eze was substituted and MLS came on as an extra defender. Mosquera had already come on in that match, as he replaced Saliba at start of the second half. Substitute made sense in my mind

So is this guy gonna play anytime soon or what? Is he shit?

The other Christian seems to be doing just fine.

We need him to give some rest to Zubi from time to time, even short cameos will do.

We don’t have any other Christians in the squad, but we do have a Christhian.
