These prats have spent £2bn, everyone on decade-long contracts and haven’t being able to mount any serious kind of challenge until now (even yet, there’s still question marks.)
The day this football club gets deleted will be a joyous day for everyone.
They’ve been actively setting themselves back with the shifting of players around every year.
I’ll give them an excuse last year but they really missed a trick the past summer.
If they focused on a few key moves they would’ve been a real trouble.
The original youth project we did didn’t escape criticism. In fact Arsenal’s recent history was used a lot as evidence against it.
I think a lot of it has to do with the increasing nerdball analysis and it’s ideas surrounding it. It seems if you call anything a ‘project’ you can get away with anything as it’s the universally agreed upon strategy regardless of it’s execution (I think it’s very debatable whether this was their original intent). A lot of their players fit that type of mould ‘age profile’ ‘sale value’ ‘young and exciting’ etc.
Btw, absolutely hilarious that Chelsea fans have been hyping up this game for Caicedo to show Rice levels.
Not only did he not do that, he’s justified the “shin kicker” tag they’ve been fighting to against.
You’d think they won the game the way they’re celebrating.
Taking a lot of pride not losing to Arsenal at home after getting a player sent off. They’re saying they would’ve won if that didn’t happen.
But you won’t hear them talking about who got sent off(and whether that was justified) or that they didn’t create a single big chance in the first half when they were so much better than us.
I see there’s no big deal being made about Chelsea picking up 6 Red cards already this season. Nothing about not being disciplined, being too emotional, not being mature blah blah.
Chelsea supporters celebrating a draw at home, against a team without a recognised striker and a CB pairing with very little PL experience, just shows they know we’re the bigger club.
I do love that they are our bitches now. Haven’t beaten us in forever, haven’t beaten us at their ground for 5 years, and now celebrating a draw at home against us. Feels good after all the years of them dunking on us under Wenger.
Same deal with United. Long may we continue to live in a world where those two shitbox clubs suffer.
