a source close to Boehly’s side described Eghbali as being “obsessed with player trading!

Ah, all these while I was laughing at Boehly but it was Eghbali

Imagine how frustrating that must have been for Boehly, being the butt of the joke when really it was the other guy fucking up just as badly.

Source: Todd Boehly

Reminds me of us saying while Raul and Ivan were shit, Sven should stay!

Actually they were all shit and they all needed to go

Now their fans have to take sides. Pure toxicity. I’m in love.

It’s weird that the manager of a club who have spent more than a billion on players in recent seasons, is trying to get us to feel sorry for him by saying they can’t compete with us.

Maresca sounds as deluded as their supporters.

I think this is some sort of stupid mind game he’s trying to play.

Even average managers don’t fall for stupid tricks like that let alone Pep or Mikel.

He knows they’re going through a purple patch but it very well could go sideways like last season.

Calls out the club captain for a lack of leadership. Wow

Probably setting him up to fail so he can take away the captaincy and replace it with someone he thinks is more deserving of it.

It has to be an awkward situation having James the captain when he’s just there cashing in the cheques and playing no football.

Hmm, that’s won’t go down well with James at all. Very weird to criticise him openly like that.

Most rich footballers (and athletes in general) have massive egos. The chances of this sparking a fire in James to become a great leader are very remote. More likely that his ego is bruised and starts resenting the manager for essentially calling him weak lol.
